Sustainable building is mostly flexible building; the more flexible, the more sustainable a building is.

The fitting of installations and systems plays a crucial role in this. “Sustainable” is also limiting the need for energy and making sure that the energy that is required is generated as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible. All of this demands an intensive cooperation between the involved parties; from the first sketch onwards, or preferably, even before that. Sustainable building is largely a question of having the right consultant at the right table at the right moment: consultants for whom “sustainable” isn’t a trend but a motto.
